To retrieve deleted files stored in locations beyond standard media folders, FileRestore must obtain All Files Access to fulfill its core recovery function. A large share of recoverable data is stored in app-specific directories, cached data zones, or custom storage paths—locations that MediaStore and standard system frameworks cannot access due to their inherent functional constraints.Without this authorization, FileRestore cannot perform deep scanning or complete recovery from non-media storage locations. Granting this permission ensures that our app can provide you with thorough, reliable, and comprehensive file restoration services.
