  • Important Note: All file recovery operations are executed locally on your device. Your personal files, photos, videos, and documents are never uploaded to, stored on, or transmitted to our servers at any point.

2. File Access Permission Clarification

To retrieve deleted files stored in locations beyond standard media folders, FileRestore must obtain All Files Access to fulfill its core recovery function. A large share of recoverable data is stored in app-specific directories, cached data zones, or custom storage paths—locations that MediaStore and standard system frameworks cannot access due to their inherent functional constraints.Without this authorization, FileRestore cannot perform deep scanning or complete recovery from non-media storage locations. Granting this permission ensures that our app can provide you with thorough, reliable, and comprehensive file restoration services.

3. How We Utilize Collected Information

The data we gather serves to:

  • Enable and deliver the core file recovery features of FileRestore.
  • Enhance app stability, strengthen security measures, and optimize overall performance.
  • Serve targeted advertisements (if applicable) using fully anonymized user data.

We will never sell your personal data to any third parties. When we employ third-party tools for analytics or advertising purposes, these providers are required to comply with all applicable global and regional privacy laws and regulations.

4. Third-Party Service Integrations
